At first, Amis hallucinated visions that commanded her to step outside of the body. She responded by becoming a poet. When she was fifteen, Amis left the mountainside and entered the city as an anonymous life which is an immigrant's life. What are cities to a monster? Why does migration:: fracture? Like a rose, not unlike pedagogy. For many years, Amis stopped speaking in the hopes of outwitting language itself. She sold the healing touch of crystals and called this witchcraft. She wrote letters and buried them in unmarked plots of land by the river. She transmits light through: and through. In her spare time, she enjoys writing unsent letters, petty thievery, and disco bowling.
