Necessity Rainbow is always introducing herself! Her story is long, cyclical, looping, backtracking, repetitious, honest to goodness, whole, watery, well- at best, she's easily hypnotized by her timeline.

Sometimes she's caught up speech-rocking in an 80s craze, where the audience has caught on that she'd just. keep. performing. until the last of them has left the venue. When they push her a bit too far, she's forced to fake her own death on-stage. This is where the prolific yet short-lived musical endeavor that is Necessity Rainbow and the Best Wishes, purveyors of sound-check warm-up noise-bop, disco-snob jazzer size, funky-fresh speech-rock, comes to an abrupt end.

Other times, she's Now of The Future Now, a hunky-dory dazed duo of clowns who love in a perfect world. Or is it live in a perfect word? They'd like you to ask them all about it @jointhefuturenow or find them purveying their mystical hoo-ha and garbled nonsense to lovers of side-show oddity everywhere.

What's she up to, now? Wouldn't you like to know!

She wants you to sit back and watch as she racks her brains and peels back all the layers. Behind the red velvet curtains of a simulation bordello, Necessity has found herself as a prostitute on CIA payroll in the infamous Operation Midnight Climax, a subproject of MKULTRA.

Payed to administer experimental mind-control drugs to Johns, (all for the viewing pleasure of agents behind a one-way mirror,) she became increasingly interested in observing the knows and hows, the ins and outs, the whoahs and wows, herself. The line between operative and observed diminished as Necessity began to lead the wild experiments, offering up her own raw data and illicit evidence to the agents who, coming to adore their perfect subject, even began to call her Little Miss Information. When she began to see double, and to feed into their every seedy bit of an inkling of a want-to, she realized she had gotten herself in way too deep. And we all know Necessity Rainbow can't keep a secret! Come play voyeur to her dizzying exposé at Poetry Brothel: Dungeon on May 2nd if you would like a peek at what goes on behind the curtains.
