Call for Poets:
The Poetry Brothel is always seeking submissions from new potential poetry whores. Are you a poet? Do you enjoy giving readings in your bedroom at home? Ever feel like getting into costume and changing your name? Would you like a glass of absinthe right now?! If so, please send up to 5 pages of poetry, a "character" bio (this need not contain any factual information), and a photo of yourself to The Madame at info@thepoetrybrothel.com.

Feeling a little afraid? Don't be! We know what we are doing, and all accepted applicants will be invited to an exclusive whoring workshop run by The Management and seasoned veteran poetry whore galore, Fran Quinn, who Robert Creeley has called "the best news possible," and according to Robert Bly, is one of the best poetry whores in America. Your poetry is safe with us, darlings.

Call for Interns:
The Poetry Brothel is looking for a new batch of interns. This is a chance to be a part of the most exciting, most dynamic phenomenon in the New York City poetry world today. All interns will be intimately involved in the creative process behind The Poetry Brothel and all key meetings of The Management. This internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning the business of being a poet and/or event planning, arts administration, or non-profit management. Please send a resume and cover letter explaining your interest in our project to The Madame at info@thepoetrybrothel.com.

Call for Buskers:
If you feel you have something to offer The Poetry Brothel besides poetry - i.e. music, painting, acting, fortune-telling, some sort of performance art - and you would like the opportunity to perform for some serious tips, please submit your work to info@thepoetrybrothel.com.

Call for Designers:
If you are a graphic designer, set designer, costume designer, fashion designer, hairdresser, makeup artist, product designer, any kind of designer!, and you would like to volunteer your services to The Poetry Brothel, we'll certainly make it worth your while. Please email The Madame at info@thepoetrybrothel.com.

Call for Gamblers:
Come play poker at The Poetry Brothel and gain free entry, a complimentary drink, and one free reading with your very own poetry whore! E-mail The Madame at info@thepoetrybrothel.com. for more information.

(Please note that The Poetry Brothel is not technically an equal opportunity employer. Preference will be given to those with a taste for absinthe, whiskey and the Sublime.)
