Join us on March 11th in Seattle for The Poetry Brothel's The Dada Tour, where the spirit of the Cabaret Voltaire will slip past the doormen of our minds and doors and free us from our admittedly loose grasp on reason and reality. Musicians, smash your instruments! Audiences, take to the stage! The Poetry Brothel family will throughout the night stir the audience into our brew in new and unforeseeable ways. Come play with us, darlings! There are nonsensical games to be won. Take your gloves off for this one and climb down the rabbit hole. We can't wait to see the look in your eyes.
Featured performers on the 11th include house band, The Accidental Rhino, burlesque babes Briq House, Holly Bordeaux, Johnny Nuriel, Isaiah Esquire, and of course, our poetry whores, Talulla Rossa, Imani Sims, Raspberry La Croix, Genevieve Des Etoiles, Arturo Von Laudenum, and Pieter DeVries. Other diversions include Lady Ferulian's tarot readings, Josh Lamb's shocking magic, and palm readings by Holy Crow. As usual, the festivities will be presided over by your hosts Mister Charley, The Madame, and that rapscallion, Tennessee Pink.
This event will have two different start times. For the first event, doors open at 7pm, and the show runs from 7:30-9:30pm. Guests are welcome and encouraged to stay and continue to enjoy private readings, drinks and food after the show. For the second show, doors open at 10pm, and the show runs from 10:30pm to 12:30am. Doors will close at 2am.
Themed costumes and/or formalwear are encouraged but not required.
This event is 21+.
